Industrial Training Institute, Durg was inaugurated on 12 October 1985. This institution was in the Government Polytechnic, Durg and after one year in a private building in “Katulboard”. After facing difficulties for 2 years, the institution was shifted to “Khandelwal Building in Ganjpara” in 1988 and the previously operated building was used as a hostel. to be done. Being located in the district since inception, training is being imparted in 7 trades (Electrician, Fitter, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Draftsman Mechanic, Welder, Shorthand Hindi and Stenography English Trades). Industrial Training Institute, being in Durg district headquarters, has been made the nodal institution by the department, being the nodal institution, about 08 government and 24 private industrial training institutes located in Durg district lead and solve the problems of all the government/private industrial training institutes under them and apprise the higher officials about the problems.
